OK last one!!
Ok i couldn't help but include these gordous pic's of the inside of this amazing covered bridge.. you have to ignore the graffiti but i don't think it takes too much away from the beauty of this piece of history!! [Oh yea; if you click on a picture you'll be able to see a bigger more detailed pic]

I also included a pic of the road we were on to get to the bridge.. it was so isolated we nearly missed the bridge that was down to the right of the road.. and a side view of the bridge...
we had a blast.. hopefully this might wet the whistle of all of you and you'll want to come visit and explore and maybe find new treasures w/ us!!
2nd of 3
The most amazing covered Bridge
in our travels yesturday we found 2 huge covered bridges that i had never bothered going to find.. we have a covered bridge a bit closer to our house and we've seen it so i figured that's how they all are.. NOT boy was i wrong.. this one was buit in 1860 and it was origionally a Rail way covered bridge.. it is now part of a snow mobile trail we had so much fun looking at it.. but it was so high up from the water i was terrified we were going to loose a kid to the drink 100 ft below!

Top right and left are the same picture just me w/ Chapman, Clair and KayLea and the middle is Elizabeth with the same kids.. then the front shot and the shot from the bridge to the water below (scary hua!)
Ok one more posting...

First of 3 for today
The Best Time!!!
we have had the best time the last couple of days a friend of mine from Arlington TX; Elizabeth, came to visit us w/ two of her kiddo's and we have had fun exploring and playing!! these pic's (and all of the pic's) were taken by Elizabeth because i can't seem to find my camera (lets all cross our fingers that i havn't lost yet another camera!!) but these pic's are of a cute heart piece of moss Elizabeth found in our back yard, a cool cemetary, KayLea and Clair peeking into the house from the side yard and the most amazing colored leaves i've ever seen... the only pic i edited at all is the one w/ the girls (made it black and white w/ some pink hughes)..
we had a blast enjoy

I guess I didn't mean it when we said we were Busy before!
Well it seems as though we were more busy than I thought before.. This week we had an extra soccer practice and one more game than usual but we faired pretty good I guess... The boys are still loving soccer, Hunter played his first 3 games in the last 7 days so he's played allot of Goalee and forward and got his first goal Friday night and he was so excited!! Bradley did well also he usually plays forward and is really improving.. KayLea is her usual sassy self and can't wait until we go to Sacramento in Nov.. (ok we are willing to admit we might have made a slight error in telling her way to early)... anyway all is good here, it's getting colder and really rainy but that doesn't stop soccer... WE PLAY IN THE RAIN.. Fun hua.. We'll see if we all get sick but I guess they have to or the season will last forever!
anyway have a great week

Fall is Here!!

As i was sitting at Brad's Soccer game i realized there was a huge patch of fall color's... that's how it's turning over here; in patches, there will be tons of green trees and then all of the suddon there are brilliant bright orange, red and yellow trees.. it's very pretty.. and now i have been told will come the huge swarm of tourists to whitness this feat of nature the turning of the leaves.. at the airport they call it "Leaf Season"... i don't quite get it but perhaps i will when it all is pretty fall colors..

it's cold now, depending on when y'all look at this check out the little girl to the right of the blog.. at night it gets to low 40's high 30's that's pretty cold but not as cold as it gets... we are making the kids wear warm pj's so we can try to stave off turning on the heat.. and the oil bill for now.. it won't last long but we are still trying not to think of it too much..

have a great almost fall day!

Life is Good
Well we are kind of in the swing of things i suppose... finishing the 2nd week of school WooHoo!! and Soccer is in full force.. Brad had his first game on Tuesday he did quite well and his team won. YEA!!! they didn't have enough kids to field 2 teams this year but had allot of boys for just one team so that has been kind of a struggle for the coaches getting 15 kids enough playing time but i think they are doing ok... Brad is happy so i suppose that's all that matters... Hunter has started practices but his first game isn't until a week from this saturday... but our life is officially busy... i'm kind of dreding next year because KayLea will be able to play.. it's hard enough w/ 2 kids playing i think i'm going to have a heart attack w/ 3.. but that's just what we do for the few months of soccer season and the good part of living here is it's a very condenced season.. they have to be done by the last week of October or they'd have to call it ice hockey not soccer.. so yes we are busy but there is light at the end of the tunnel...

We are gearing up for a good friend of mine from TX is coming to visit Elizabeth w/ 2 of her kiddo's can't wait and then we are off to Matt's in Sacramento for the Wedding... KayLea was so funny, she was tired one evening and got onto kind of a tanget of who would she see at the wedding (and we keep having to remind her it's Matt's wedding.. she's stuck on Jody's wedding 18 months ago)... anyway then she asked if she gets a new dress and we said of coarse and i ordered it online and she saw the pic and origionally she loved it.. then she got it in her head that she wanted a pink dress... i told her the Bride gets to choose the colors she got it but now she'll tell anyone who will listen that when she's a bride she's going to choose pink dresses... i'll have to put that in the scrapbook and torture her w/ it when she gets married....

anyway that's all the goings on we all are great it's getting a bit cooler we are having to remember sweaters to Soccer practice for when the sun starts to go down...
Fall is here the colors are already changing... it will be fun to see it all the way through this year not in sections when we cam to house hunt and then the final move like last year..

love to all

The Fall Out
Well the first few days of school have been a success but today we got the fall out!!! Thursday evening the boys got to attend a minor league baseball game because their school met their summer reading goal; only thing is the bus didn't pull back into the school grounds until 10:30pm.. (they left at 5:30) we knew this going into it but i was reassured that they have done this the past 2 years and it has all worked out fine...
besides the fact that we ALL over slept on friday morning sleeping through the alarm clocks and we all have been grouchy nothing as far as clean rooms etc. had gotten done so today was the day... everyone (including me) are still needing of some extra sleep and of coarse they both are way too old or too cool to take a nap so we all are just after each other all day.. we are going to bed early if i have to change the time on the clocks!!! it's cold and a little rainy today so i can't even send them outside to fight!!!
anyway i'm sure this too shall pass but so much for wishing school back in.. i'm wishing for the sun to come out so we can have one last day at the beach!!! i have a feeling that is just that wishful thinking!!!
anyway everything is good no matter my ranting...
have a great one!
