So it's been a bit since I posted and the blog guilt was getting to me.. We are doing GREAT... we are SUPER busy but GREAT!!!... Baseball started so well that just means I have no life for the next few months.. except for somehow my church callings and other stuff i already was doing didn't get the baseball memo which means i'm just INSAINE!!!
I somehow agreed to coach KayLea's rookie baseball team... actually I kind of remember how I got into it, a good friend said they were in desperate need and they ("they" meaning the people in charge of all things baseball i guess) asked her and she said she'd only do it if I agreed to help her.. so really we are Coaches in name only.. I mean we do all the paperwork, organization getting parent volunteers etc. but Brad and the other Coach's 6th grade son, do all the running, pitching and all around "coaching" really.. Brad is really good with the kids and it actually counts for service hours for scouts so win win! and since he's not playing on a team this year it works out pretty well... Hunter had his first game last night.. they won and Hunter did very well... but we didn't get done until almost 8:00 I guess they have gotten rid of the "homework" rule where we had to be done by 7:30pm i'm none too happy about that but I guess there's not really anything I can do about it..
Preperations for Girls camp are going well.. i've been meeting with the girls the last 2 wednesday's and I think it's going to be fun.. it's still going to be ALLOT of work but i'm looking forward to it.. getting the kids to and from Arkansas is going to be interesting but I'm banking on the fact that I am "suppose" to be doing this so hopefully everything will work out!!!
the weather decided to get down right HOT didn't seem to have an easing into period at all one night it was 30 degrees (ok so may 35-38) the next night it was 70 (it was in the upper 80's-90's during the day) Church was MISERABLE becase it came on so quick no one knew how to turn OFF the heat.. and then it went out just as quickly last night was back down to 50's i'm holding firm to not turn the heat back on (crossing fingers.. it may not pan out)... and if we can RESIST getting Air Conditioners and just live with open windows and fans our Heating and Electricity bills might give us a break for the summer.. (we can only wish!)
so thats pretty much all thats going on... Hunter Bridges from Cub Scouts next wednesday I am PROMISING to bring my camera...

a new phase
So Yesterday (friday) I spent a GREAT day at the Temple.. It had been WAY too long since I have gone with out supervising youth (which don't get me wrong I LOVE to do that also) and as I was sitting there taking all that is taken in at the Temple, it came to me that I am beginning to enter into a new phase of life.. I will hopefully be able to enjoy many many more days like I had yesterday.. you see KayLea got to go to school ALL DAY yesterday.. I resisted the HUGE URGE to be a volunteer in her class (they needed xtra help with both classes together ALL DAY) and I'm glad I did!!!
I went with an AWESOME girl friend who we just talked and talked the almost 2 hour ride there and back and BASKED in the quiet solitude there at that Holy Place.. I am thankful for my Yesterday.. Part of me feels like maybe I should be a little sad to see this "phase" go, and to be honest I think I thought I would be a little sad.. it certinally took me a bit to adjust to having ALL my kids in school BUT at least for now I am looking forward to this new Phase of coarse I'm not totally there yet, KayLea won't go all day until next school year but yesterday was a SWEET taste of whats to come!!!

Hoppy Easter
So We survived Easter again.. it was fun, we had a VERY busy weekend with pinewood Derby on Friday, a Ward breakfast on Saturday and Hunter also had a birthday party all day Sat then of coarse Sunday...
But I can usually tell my stress level by how motivated I am to over manage or remember the little things.. I forgot my camera on pinewood derby night and it was a momentous occasion it was our very LAST pinewood derby FOREVER!!! that's right folks, the Fox boys have moved forward it's definitely a new era, Hunter will be out of Cub Scouts in just a month meaning we will no longer have ANY Cub Scouts their fore no Pinewood Derby, I might shed the tiniest of tears but I'm too busy doing cartwheels over this news!!! but I forgot my camera I failed as a Mom to document this moment in time for Hunter and our family.. I'll probably get over it..
I also took a good amt of pictures when the kids decorated eggs (at 9:30pm because that's when Hunter got home from his party) I even took pictures of the kids diving into their baskets BUT I didn't take any pictures of them in their fancy Easter duds going to church, nor did I take pictures of KayLea and her ABSOLUTELY adorable HUGE curly hair, she FINALLY slept all night with sponge curlers (we have tried several times but she always rips them out before the night is over) and her hair was a liking to Clown hair.. she cried and cried when I told her we had to brush it down so make it "lower" she understood i think but still was certain I was plotting to get rid of her curls.. You'll all just have to take my word for it that it was adorable and VERY curly.. maybe I'll convince her to do it again next week so I can "re-create it" to put in my scrapbook which I'm way behind on anyway...
Am I the only one who frets over how much candy vs. clothes vs. toys to put in the kids baskets??.. there are years I forget what I've gotten and keep buying candy.. this year I kept going back and forth "do they need a chocolate bunny" Ben reminds me NO that is ALWAYS a mistake.. they can never eat it in one setting and we have broken chunks of yucky chocolate ground into the rug I resisted but have some guilt I think...
On another Easter RANT I discovered i LOVE sweet tarts.. it's only Easter when they shape sweet tarts into bunny's and rabbits.. they even have gummy sweet tarts the kids even noticed that they had far more sweet tart related candy than chocolate (i don't really care for chocolate)... but this year I was so disappointed it seems as though they have omitted the Yellow in most (not all) of the sweet-tarty goodness.. I'm sitting here right now snacking on a bag of chick's ducks & Bunnies and not a yellow in the bag.. only pink purple and blue, i feel gipped!!! and there sure are allot of blue's YUCK! I need to be able to buy a bag of just Purple and Yellow (and MAYBE the occasional green which reminds me there isn't any green anywhere either) could the sweet tart company use some of Obama stimulus to bring back the yellow and green?? is it budget cut backs or layoffs perhaps the person who holds the yellow and green recipe was laid off.. well I"m here to tell you i purchased enough Sweet tart products to be able to bring back that guy!!!
So My Internet connection is kind of crappy right now (seems worse than usual) so I'll have to wait to post pictures of our Easter adventures (except of coarse of KayLea's cute curls)...
That's all for now

Found a DEAL!!!
Ok so someone kindly recommended this site ( zennioptical.com ) on a comment on a previous entry THANKS!!! and I just ordered Hunter a spare pair of glasses for $20.90 INCLUDING SHIPPING!!! Hunter and Glasses aren't a good match... our insurance pays for new frame every 2 years and we have NEVER made it through the second year and frankly this is the first time we've ever replaced lenses in the same frame but of coarse less than a month after replacing the lenses he breaks them on the joint of the nose guard the choices were get a whole new frame, pay $120 for the same crappy frames that we HAD to choose with our optical plan that were obviously AWFUL or pay 100 for a basic value pair to creep him through until the end of the year... we actually ended up getting a GREAT discount (65%) on the same crappy frames due to the great optician yelling at our insurance so because he needed the glasses TODAY we did that BUT I don't want to be held hostage by our insurance again so I ordered a spare set online w/ zenni so that if he breaks these frames (and we ALL Know he will!!!) we'll have these... and they were titanium memory ones that are supposedly GREAT!!! we'll see.. I'm sure they are made in China by sweat shop workers but frankly is it bad that I could give a rip!!! being a Mom who wears glasses herself with 2 (probably coming on 3, she has an appt already) kids who wear glasses this is a GREAT FIND!!! I get nothing from these people I just ENJOY passing along a great deal.. I'll let you know when they come if they are as great as they seem but for 20$ it would take ALLOT to be disappointed!!!
