People will take ANYTHING.. well ALMOST anything!

So when we moved we moved during a blizzard no lie! so a few things got (cough) broken or we decided just wasn't worth finding room in the new house these things were.. a metal office desk that we actually got for free from our previous land lord, when we moved one of the metal legs bent and broke off making it UN usable.. we also had the back bench seat and 3 tires/wheel rim's from Ben's Bronco that he hasn't owned in over a year! so we are cleaning up the yard as some things just landed in a pile and the snow was a clever disguise and well with out the white stuff we just look like the hillbilly's on the block... so i made a "FREE PLEASE TAKE.. NO RETURNS" sign and propped the desk up against the 3 stacked tires and the back seat next to it... i thought for sure the truck stuff would go first and we'd be stuck with the pile of metal desk and it wouldn't even burn (we have a burn pile now also!) i was totally wrong.. not a few hours after i put it all out someone was taking the desk! only when they realized it only had 3 legs i saw them step back and decide if they really wanted it.. then they tried to put it in their back seat of their Oldsmobile.. this desk wasn't huge but it wasn't a back seat kind of desk either.. so they put it back and went off.. i thought for sure that was the last of anyone wanting that ugly broken desk WRONG... i have no clue if it was the same people with a better equipped vehicle but another hour later it was gone and i didn't even notice when it left.. then after we got home from running around yesterday the tires were gone YES!!! almost done with the crud! now only the bench seat only I can't get it open so it will "show" it's best self.. Ben tried yesterday too but I'm thinking the year it was outside in the elements, rain, snow etc. etc.. has done permanent harm... so know anyone who wants a blue rusty, probably moldy blue bench seat (originally for the back seat of a Bronco)...
now we just need to get a burn permit and burn the other wood desk and lots of branches and leaves that are littering the yard (isn't living on 10 1/2 acres fun!) along with the million or so cigarette butts left so kindly for us by the previous owner and un-earthed by the snow!!!
have i said how HAPPY i am that most of the snow it gone!!! YIPPEE!!!
