So, the worst has happened and my Mother in Law passed away last wednesday in the early morning. although we are certinally sad and will be missing her allot, we are also happy she is no longer suffering in her body that has been slowly failing her for quite some time.. we also are comforted by the knowledge that we are an eternal family and will be reunited with her again.
With the kids still at my parents Ben and I took off to CA (with me leaving Girls camp a tad early). we spent the first few days helping where we could then the kids joined us monday... it has been an amazing week.. it's amazing how our little family has come together in this time and supported one another and just "been together".
We have bbq'd, and made Sheri's famous dinners and swam and just enjoyed one another... we have cried and laughed and all in all have vowed to make it a point to get together everyone more often.
the funeral is tomorrow, the 3 sister's in law are singing I know that My redeemer lives.. i just hope I can make it through it.. (i usually can but i've never sung at that close of family member's funeral before)..
i have amazing pictures of us roasting marshmellows and making smors but alas Ben's laptop doesn't have a card reader on it so i'm stuck.. and so i'll have to wait until we get home.. i remembered Brad has a card reader on his laptop so yippee pictures to share!
