Wednesdays always seem to be the hardest days at Day camp... everyone's tired and for us it's been VERY hot which no one is use to around here.. I am so lucky though because this year we have a GREAT group!!! with only one exception all of the boys are just super well behaved and even the one that needs a little more encouragement he's not aweful he's just got some "issues" and his Mom's working at camp so she comes to our rescue regularly so really thats not much to complain about (but don't get me wrong i think i'm doing my fair share of complaining when things get rough)...
so sorry no pic's yet as i'm shuttering away with the good camera...
Ben is off tomorrow morning bright and early (please no one tell Sheri, he wants it to be a suprise..) of coarse we've been told Sheri's short term memory isn't great so it probably wouldnt matter but just humor him and don't tell ok! so i'll be single mom-ing it until next wednesday when we'll all join him... we've worked it out so Ben will use up all his vacation so we aren't going with out pay.. now if he has to come back at a later time then we'll have to cross that bridge when we get to it (it will be w/out pay) but i do have faith that everything will work out... i just have to remind myself that i have faith haha!
So we are all doing as well as can be expected.. i didn't mention before but we had "the talk" with the kids last sunday afternoon after church, this particular talk was because they have been overhearing us talk between us and of coarse Ben on the phone to his Brother and Dad Etc. regarding Sheri's health.. it was a hard talk for Ben because he had to speak out loud that Grandma Sheri isn't doing so well and She's very sick.. we assured them that Grandma Sheri LOVES them so much and if she had the choice she'd never leave them but Heavenly Father has other plans for her, and We may not see them now but there are lessons to be learned in all of this... We re-opened our "ask us ANYTHING even if you think it's dumb or yucky" policy (it really never closed!) they didn't have many questions except for Hunter who got a little worried because Ben said he was going early to Ca to help out grandpa.. he was worried Grandpa was sick too! ... it was an end to an already emotional day, Ben ordained Brad to the aronic priesthood (i'm sure i butchured the spelling so don't even correct me!) I don't know why but everytime Ben does these things i stand in Awww... he tries to be this cool tough guy but when he's using his priesthood it is sweet and tender and and the spirit is so strong... so Brad got to pass the Sacrament for the first time.. the kid looked like a Deer caught in the headlights.. he was worried his Corm president (who gives the assignments to where the decons pass) was sending him on a wild goose chase (only because they teased him at camp about doing that very thing) but he did great! it was a great Sacrament meeting...
So thats the catch up... if i don't post for a while it's because i'm probably stapeling my kids to the walls to prevent further messes.. i have a feeling we'll be eating allot of take out but i've got a fridge to clean out so hopefully not too much!
