So we are home, we got home last night around 11pm our time so the kids were pretty tired but not totally beat because they were still on CA time.. Ben didn't have to get up early for work today (YEA!) so we all just slept until we woke up... and didn't even rouse until well after noon.. (thats not to say we ALL slept until then.. thats just when we decided to dress and get on with the day)
So i think it's offical my card reader is shot... this computer isn't reading it as well... and to top it off we must have had quite a thunderstorm while we were away because all the clocks in the house were blinking and our dial up modem is fried.. so no internet unitl i can get around to getting a new one (i'm at the library now) and because we left kind of quick and earlier than we had anticipated i now need to clean up the fridge and throw away a ton of food...
so because of the fried card reader i have no pictures to share today but be assured we had an AWESOME time... KayLea said last night when i told her "aren't you happy you get to sleep in your own bed" she said "i want to go sleep on Grandpa Budd's floor!"... high compliment for sure!!!
another kind of sad thing.. our cat is AWOL... we left it with plenty of food a clean litter box and it's prefered way to get in and out of the house and came home to food barley eaten and no sign of the litter box being used (which isn't that alarming because he could get in and out)... so KayLea in her prayers last night asked "bless that Spike is safe and will come back home" so we'll see.. that girl has enough faith to pull it off but I have a sneeking suspicision that he might have met the wrong end of a car...
anyway thats the long and short of it...
i hope to get another card reader either today or tomorrow so maybe by the end of the week we'll have photographic proof of all our fun...
