Hunter has worked for the last several months on Susical the Musical Jr. a play the 4th and 5th grade drama club has been working on.. Thursday and Friday were there performances (4 in total) and i was really impressed.. it's taken me this long to post because i was a back stage mom and well i don't know about the kids but I WAS EXHAUSTED! i think I've finally recovered and no worse for ware and even looking forward to next years play.. Brad was in it last year when only 5th graders were invited to participate and it was a musical review (made up by the teacher) this year they actually spent some money and got the rights to a REAL play.. it was SOOOO worth it!!!

How did it all work? The costumes and all that? Were they purchased or did parents make them?
Congrats also on being a "backstage mom"! You know they couldn't have done it without you!
We were super lucky, a community theatre in a neighboring town did susical (the real one not Jr) 2 years ago so they graciously loaned us all of the costumes.. they were ment for adults so most of them had to be altered (good ole' safety pins!) but it REALLY made all the difference in the "quality" of performance! it was REALLY so much fun!
